Mr Mo becomes a "Dropbox Guru"; gets 48 GB of bonus space

Dropbox-Guru-73GB

Okay, in other news, I just became a “Dropbox Guru”. I didn’t invent the term. I also do not know exactly what I did to merit it, but I just received an email from Dropbox conferring on me the status. Of course, Dropbox is my prefered Cloud storage service, though I have accounts with SkyDrive, Sugarsync, and Box for review purposes. Anyway, here are the contents of the mail:

Hi Yomi,

Congrats on becoming a Dropbox Guru! We’ve awarded you 48 GB of bonus space for the next 24 months! You now have 73.25 GB on Dropbox. To get even more space, check out our upgrade options.

Thanks again for supercharging your Samsung device with Dropbox!

Enjoy,
– The Dropbox Team

Please congratulate me! Drinks on the house at MOBILITY Towers tonight. Party ended 5 minutes ago!

    Huh!? 73.25GB?! Wow! I have just 53.9GB.

I got my 48GB when I activated my Galaxy Note. But it is free for 2 years, and then you have to pay for it. Hopefully though, by then Dropbox may just 'dash' it to us. 😀

I presume that I get to keep the bonus space even after I return the Galaxy Note II. If so, I should target more review devices that offer this sort of benefits :-)

Might end up with 500 GB space if i can pull that off for a while.

I never got a mail from them. Both while using the Note and now the Note 2. What didn't I do right?
