2017 Hyundai Tucson: The third redesign is the charm?

The 2017 Hyundai Tucson is the third redesign in the history of the vehicle range. The 2017 model of the vehicle has some new features, which include technological updates that are restricted to the more expensive variants for now. Right now, the vehicle is available in a series of flavors that range from $25,000 upwards. Different features might add to the car price. However, this can also be said of various other new cars and existing models of various brands.

The 2017 Hyundai Tucson is available in SE, ECO, Sport, and Limited trim models. All of these cool cars are offered with a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, though the all-wheel drive is said to add an extra $1,400. But one cannot deny that the vehicle is one of the cool cars around.

2017 Hyundai Tucson: Power And Transmission

The 2017 Hyundai Tucson SE has a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with direct injection. This engine is rated at 164 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. Of course, the Eco, Sport and Limited levels are rated higher, with a 1.6-liter, 4-cylinder engine with a turbocharger that boosts power to 175 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque, which surely makes for some pretty fast cars.

The SE version of the vehicle makes use of a 6-speed automatic transmission. All the other models feature a high-tech 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The vehicle’s ride and handling is not as flashy as it looks. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing, as the steering is said to be competent enough. The ride is refined, according to reports, and the cabin is quiet at highway speeds.

2017 Hyundai Tucson: room

The Tucson’s cabin is big enough for four adults to sit in comfortably. There is enough leg room for passengers in the rear seat. The cargo space has been increased, though it still does not match that of some of its competitors. But then, there is a cargo floor that can be lowered by 2 inches for easier loading of heavy items.

Furthermore, the 2017 Hyundai Tucson SE is modestly equipped. It includes features like alloy wheels, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and a 5.0-inch touchscreen audio system. There are two option packages, Preferred and Popular Equipment, which add items like LED running lights, roof rack rails and a single touch feature for the power windows.

The Limited edition of the vehicle features leather seats, an 8.0-inch touchscreen navigation system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Currently, the 201 Hyundai Tucson Limited model is the only model to come with automatic emergency braking.

All in all, the 2017 Hyundai Tucson is one of the cool cars on the market. Compared to a lot of other new cars, this vehicle might not be one of the best cars around. But you might want to give it a try.

I think there’s too much similarity between this and the Nissan Qasqi. If money ain’t a thing, the Limited edition makes sense.
