The 2018 GMC Acadia is perfect for family-oriented car buyers

There are several nice crossover vehicles with decent features which you can get for a decent price now. The 2018 GMC Acadia is one of these vehicles. What makes it stand out from its peers is its seating for up to seven people. This is basically a car that was made for family-oriented buyers. However, the 2018 GMC Acadia is smaller than previous models, so you might want to look elsewhere if you prefer something bigger.

The 2018 GMC Acadia is available in SL, SLE, SLT and Denali trim levels. The SLTs and SLTs have the option of an All Terrain package. Most of these trim levels come with a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine. However, there is also a 3.6-liter V-6 option. The vehicle can be ordered with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

The interior is quite comfortable. Even though the vehicle is quite narrow, the vehicle has room for four at least. The third row is a tight fit for adults, but quite fine for children. With the various trim levels and option packages, there is an Acadia for just about every need.

However, the advanced safety tech on the vehicle leaves room for improvement. The best safety features, which include automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and active lane control, are available only on the SLT or Denali. Rival companies have these features as standard on all trim levels. When it comes to fuel economy, the 2018 GMC Acadia performs at an acceptable level, with a score of 20 miles per gallon, combined with the optional V-6 and all-wheel drive.

The 2018 GMC Acadia offers a smooth, comfortable ride, with handling that can almost be described as nimble. Add that to all the other features of the vehicle, and you get a solid, if not stand-out choice among mid-size crossovers with seating for up to seven passengers.
