2019 Samsung phones: Samsung is fighting back – hard

Samsung is on to something against the Chinese brands that have been eating its lunch. And the new Galaxy A series phones are spearheading this crusade. Here is the list of 2019 Samsung phones, along with their prices.

This looks set to be the year of Samsung’s resurgence, and it isn’t just because of the Galaxy S10 series. Looking at the line-up of 2019 Samsung phones, one can see that the Korean smartphone manufacturer has clearly restrategised to face-off the stiff competition from the Chinese budget brands that have been eating its lunch.

Of note is how the company has introduced a new A-series that pack much better value for money than the average Samsung phone has over the years. And they are giving the competition a run for their money. The issue of competitive pricing has been one that has dogged Samsung Mobile since the emergence of competitors like Xiaomi, OnePlus, TECNO, Infinix and others.

Galaxy A Series smartphones dominate 2019 line-up

Those brands have consistently offered better pricing for similarly-specc’d phones than Samsung has. But finally, the world’s largest Android phone manufacturer is facing the issue, and its new Galaxy A-series is where the action is happening. And it is no surprise that these new devices dominate the list of 2019 Samsung phones.

Galaxy A series devices dominate the list of 2019 Samsung phones

Here are the Samsung phones released in 2019, and the features that make them stand out. The Galaxy A-series dominate this list, and that is not a bias. Of the 17 Samsung phones released in 2019, 10 of them are Galaxy A Series devices. Three are Galaxy S10 devices. The others are tablets.

So pretty much all 2019 Samsung phones are split between the Galaxy A series and S10 series. You will also notice how, with the exception of the entry-level A2 Core, the new Galaxy A Series devices pack big displays and big batteries.

Which is why our list looks like this:

The line-up of 2019 Samsung phones is an exciting one – certainly more exciting than what we have seen over the last few years.

The first half of 2019 is gone and it has been completely dominated by the new Galaxy A series. We are likely to see a few more M Series phones from Samsung. But all in all, the year is definitely looking good for the Korean brand.
