In response to a tweet, Microsoft’s Engineering General Manager, Gabriel Aul, has stated that Windows Phone smartphones with 512MB RAM will get Windows Technical Preview for phones:

Gabriel also did say earlier that Microsoft is still compiling the list of supported devices. Put these together, and it seems to me that while 512 MB RAM will be supported, not all of them are likely to get it. No?
One also wonders what he meant by “first preview”. Your thoughts, Windows Phone fans?
