The Lumia 640 has a bigger sibling, the Lumia 640 XL, which features a 5.7-inch display, same OS version, processor and RAM as the 640, but with a more capable 13-megapixel Lumia Camera 5 with ZEISS optics and LED flash, as well as a beefier 3,000 mAh battery. Lumia 640 XL will be available in single SIM and Smart Dual SIM variants.

Both devices come with all the standard suite of apps and services from Microsoft, and both will be upgradable to Windows 10 when that is launched.

  1. another pair of capable mid-range Lumias, personally I’m more interested in what Microsoft has for the flagship/premium segment. as for the low/mid-range segment think I’m set on the Lumia 535

  2. Maybe the XL will be my first window phone trial. The screen size and the battery capacity can’t be overlooked.

  3. The Lumia 640 XL LTE dual sim version very tempting for me. I just upgraded from lumia 530 to 535, hope there is a good fairly used market to sell off my lumia 535 once the 640 XL is available. 640XL a worthy successor to the 1320 in my opinion. Windows complements my android for professional work, no lags just seamless use.

  4. The XL specs looks alluring to me.I may also need to try a windows phone for the first time having been used to android and BB.Depends on the price though.
