Airtel is getting fraudulent by the day. Had my bis deactivated 3 days into the subscription cos I began to get billed outside the bundle. Was on to their customer care with no solution till now. I’v lost over 600naira to them (aitime recharge) that vanished. Silly network.

Airtel’s BIS has been acting funny lately; I always have to call customer care just to get re-subscribed to BIS. It wasn’t like that in the days of Zain Nigeria…

So they finally decided to offer their bb services to prepaid folks but with too many glitches. Bad move guys. Not testing a product properly before launch is one huge recipe for disaster.

what ever it is, thank God that there is a Blackberry Service that we can afford. All those carrying the device with no service would get on board and make the space merrier!!

Thank you Airtel for doing it again. Airtel has shown again and again that it truely cares for customers. I have always enjoyed Airtel Blackberry service and the new offerings have only added colours to my good experience on Airtel BB.
All the operators experience glitches with their service but i think we will get it right as a country if we continue to move in the right direction

Please is this a promo or a hack? it worked for a friend:

Airtel is at it again with their usual kind gesture. This time they are giving away free 1 GB of internet data to all its customers who care to have it. That is for free. Nothing is better than this in Nigeria today. So let’s give one big GBOSA to them.

To register for this AIRTEL SOCIALMONTH and Get 1024MB for Free:

    1. Text SOCIALMONTH to 440, After Sending the Message, You will Receieve a Message from 0802 asking you to wait.

    2. After about 2 Minutes, You will receive another Msg from 0802 again, And you will be Informed that you have been given a Data Bundle of 1024MB

    3. Now Dial *141*712*0# on your Phone and you will see that you have 1024MB.

    4. Remove your Phone Battery and Insert it again, Then ON your Phone and start Browsing.

    NOTE:
You can Send the Message to 440 even without having any Credit on your Phone and if you have it wont be Deducted.

You can Remove your SIM to use with your Modem to Browse on PC. Or do you think you can exhaust all that 1 GB on your phone? It will Last for 1 Month (30 days) though.

I believe this is billing glitch and not a promo.

This does NOT work for some SIMs.

It is working for me (NOT using blackberry), although it is soooo slow as to be almost unuseable (NEVER up to 2kbps).

    Hmmm.

      Klins,

Send “help” to 440, or give customer care a call.

I hope airtel is aware that Glo is offering full BIS for less than half the price airtel charges. They should be aware that people are getting ready to switch to a cheaper price.Just like Per Second Billing,Glo has shown us again that we can get these services at a much cheaper rate…Airtel beware! U are going to lose your customers! You watch!

The beauty of healthy competition is to the maximum gain of the users. Glo is Offering full BIS at N1400. Etisalat says if you pay N3000 for the full BIS, your call rate drops to 20k/second during the subscription period. MTN, Airtel what do you have to offer?

D most annoying part is getting billed outside my bundle n afta speaking wif ova ten customer care agents d issue hasnt still bin resolved…

    Jmabs,

You want to switch from Airtel when those of us on Glo are sick and tired of their terrible quality of service?

    Goodluck with that.

Airtel seems to have d best download speed out of all d networks that offers BIS service but constant network disruption and lousy customer service makes MTN a much better option(think of all d subscribers that are on MTN if airtel had that many subscribers there network for don crash long ago)

Guys, I dunno know what you all are talking about o but Airtel is currently the bestest thing around in terms of data quality on their BlackBerry service and their data bundles…rumour has it that some interesting changes have occured- this being the basis for the slow down in launching their new BlackBerry Complete and Social services (u bera check it out). For those of you with issues, i think my response to you is as follows…”pickin wey fail no dey repeat?i beg make Airtel repeat jor…” i think they still got loads of good stuff coming the way of us dedicated customers~
