Android Lollipop has a memory leak bug

Posted by

A number of Nexus owners who have updated their devices to Android Android 5.0.1 version of Lollipop have reported a memory leak bug that builds up used memory, killing open apps, redrawing the home launcher. In addition, lots of the background services e.g. playing music, get killed and restarted. These users are having to reboot their devices regularly to keep them running smoothly.

Google is reported to have marked the bug down for fixing in a future software update. Are you a Nexus owner who has upgraded? Are you experiencing issues with your device since updating? Share your experience please.
