The public beta for the iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 is now available for download. This new software release comes barely a month after a couple of developer beta versions. The public beta for iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 gives us a sneak peek into some new features we should expect to see on the Apple devices later on in the year.
If you are interested in running the upcoming OS versions on your device, you will need to enrol in the Apple Beta Software program with your Apple ID to get started. It is recommended that you try out this OS on a secondary device, as bugs may surface, there may be crashes and you may encounter a number of other issues while trying out this OS version. It is also best to backup your data before commencing the downloading process.
Once you are enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program, proceed to Settings > General > Software Update to download the update. Your device should have at least 50 percent battery charge before attempting this process.
One of the changes that this build will bring is the redesigned interface that has the App Library view to group multiple apps on a single screen. The new iOS version also brings an upgraded Siri while there will be new Memoji options with additional headwear, hairstyles and face covering.
