Bar Launcher adds app shortcuts to the notification toolbar

One of the most useful features of the Android smartphone is the notification bar. However, not everyone knows just how useful it could be. Did you know that you could create a new row of shortcuts in the notification bar? These would be shortcuts to your favorite apps. Fortunately, there is an app to do that for you. The name of the app is Bar Launcher, and it is available on Google Play Store for free.

Bar Launcher is supported on almost all devices. Also, it does not require any permissions. The only requirement is that you need to have at least Android 4.0 on your smartphone. Once you install the app, you’ll discover a really simple interface, which is great. First of all, you’ll need to toggle on the switch at the top of the screen. This allows you to add and remove the notification toolbar whenever you want.Bar Launcher

To add apps to the notification toolbar, just press the + symbol located in the blue circle. This will open a new screen with all the apps on your phone. You can add up to 8 apps in total. Also, you can remove any app you want to by simply sliding it to the right. When you tap on the app, you can switch it for another one. Also, you can rearrange the position of the apps on the toolbar. Simply hold down one app and drag it to any position you prefer.

Here’s one more thing about Bar Launcher. It allows you create multiple lines of shortcuts in your notification toolbar. All you need to do is click on the menu items, then select Add Row. Each new row you create can be renamed, so you can distinguish between them. Also, you can change some things in the settings, which include background color, removing the Launch Bar icon from the notification toolbar, and various other settings.
