Blackberry Hub apps for Android now in Play Store

BlackBerry Ltd has announced the availability of Blackberry Hub apps for Android 6 Marshmallow devices. BlackBerry Hub is part of BlackBerry Hub+, a suite of applications that includes other apps like calendar, contacts, notes, tasks, device search, launcher and password keeper applications for Android smartphones.

While BlackBerry’s own Android smartphones, PRIV and DTEK50, have Blackberry Hub apps built in out of the box, the apps have not been available for other Android smartphones.

Free To Try

Users can download a free trial of Blackberry Hub apps for Android from Google Play. The trial includes a suite of applications, including the BlackBerry Hub, calendar and password keeper. After a 30-day trial, users can continue using the apps for free with an ad-based experience, or subscribe to the entire suite of apps for 99 cents a month, which will include additional features: contacts, tasks, device search, notes and launcher. Additionally, users can choose to download the full suite from Google Play or just pick their favorite apps.

The suite is currently available only for Android 6 Marshmallow devices. Support for Android 5 Lollipop is on the way.

    Installed the Hub about a week ago, gave their keyboard a whirl. Averagely good is the verdict. Uninstalled after thrity minutes..

    Didn’t try any of the other application in the suite…
