ChargeSpot: Wireless charging is here

Posted by Oluseyi

Canadian company, ChargeSpot Wireless Power Inc., has introduced the first a wireless charger called ChargeSpot Pocket. The new technology is designed to be used in public places such as restaurants and bars, offices, hotels and even airports. So, business owners alike who want to offer wireless charging to customers can take advantage of this.

The new technology is simply installed beneath the surface, so it cannot be seen at sight, which allows for a seamless transition of power generation to places it couldn’t be, such as tabletops and water prone areas.

The new technology is both compatible with Qi (Wireless Power Consortium) and PMA (Power Matter Appliance) devices such as Samsung, LG, HTC, and Nokia.

The new wireless technology is already being used in public places in Canada. We only hope they begin to manufacture it in mass production and distribute it to other parts of the world, Africa inclusive.
