Car ride service, Uber, has received injection of funds from Baidu, the Chinese search engine. At this time, the amount of the investment is unknown.
As part of the deal, Baidu’s mapping and mobile-search applications will be integrated into Uber’s service. This will allow China residents to more readily find rides. Uber is already active in China.
