Good day,
I am a huge fan of Blackberry and particularly I was delighted to be among the first set of people to make use of the Android version of the BBM app some months back. All the excitement have actually fizzled out now due to a bug with the current version of the app.
The moment that I updated the app to the most recent version, that was it. No more BBM pings, group chat, etc. What I only get is a blue display telling me that I need to be connected to the 3G or Wi-Fi to make use of the app. It is really frustrating because I am no longer connected to a lot of my friends and to Mobility blog group on BBM.
Trying to connect over the mobile network doesn’t work, but when I use a shared WiFi hotspot, the app works. This is happening on my Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562. Two friends of mine using the Samsung Galaxy grand Duos and Samsung Galaxy S2 are complaining of same too.
Please help inform RIM about the issue.
Thank you.
