Nokia’s bold move to deliver mobile phones and services for the next billion users is already in motion. One of the moves is to push for the development of quality applications for their S40 mobile platform. We must not forget that while S40 is a non-smartphone platform, it is still the world’s largest mobile OS.
Nokia is doling out a total of 1 million euros in cash to developers whose apps cut the mark. The deadline to enter the Create for Millions contest has been extended to 1 November 2011, so this is fresh opportunity for developers.
Are you a developer? Are you already involved? In this series, I will be focusing on the Create for Millions contest and the S40 platform. Hang around.
In the meantime, visit the Create for Millions contest page.
