If, like me, you have always wanted Microsoft Office on your Android smartphone or tablet, your dream just came close to coming true. CloudOn have released a Microsoft office app for Android. But….
Here’s the but. The Sony Xperia P that I am reviewing is not supported. Neither is the quad-core HTC One X, or half a dozen other Android smartphones and tablets that I have reviewed here in recent times. Bummer.
So, what devices are supported? Well, here are the ones I am sure of right now from the documentation in my Play Store account: Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Note II, Samsung P7500 Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G, and (surprise!), the Galaxy Samsung S II. That guarantees that the S III is supported too.
If your device is supported, CloudOn links it to your Box, Dropbox, Google Drive and SkyDrive accounts. The built-in Adobe Reader and File Viewer lets you open and view virtually any file type, including PDF, JPG, PNG, GIF, etc, and lets you easily email files to your contacts directly from the workspace.
Get more details and download CloudOn. Give it a shot and let’s have feedback on whether your device is supported or not.
