Google Launches Android 11 Beta OTA For Pixel Devices

Following an initial delay of the Android 11 Beta, Google has finally kicked off the Beta phase for the next Android OS.

The first Beta builds will be available for the Google Pixel 2, 2 XL, 3, 3 XL, 3a, 3a XL,4 and 4 XL. For users interested in enrolling in this program, they can click on the source link to join the program. Once you are enrolled with a Google account associated with your Pixel device, you should be able to go into the settings to get the update out.

Google Launches Beta Builds Android 11

For those running the Android 11 Developer Preview, they will also be able to update via OTA. The Android 11 Beta has several new features including the new Bubbles API, letting more apps be minimized into floating notifications, there is also a one-time permission setting that allows you deny or accept permission on a case-by-case basis.

A new Fast Share feature is also available, this will allow users send files to other Android devices over Wi-Fi just the same way AirDrop works.
