Many of us Android users are familiar with Google Now. A personal assistant on our phones that help us acomplish many tasks. We have seen some of the many amazing things one can achieve with the app. But the bane is that all it’s awesome features work only with an internet connection.
That may change soon because it appears Google is trying to implement offline functionality in the app. In an APK teardown of it’s latest version, the lines of code suggests that we might soon be able to perform the following functions without need for internet.
This includes things like making calls, sending texts, play music, and Turn ON/OFF WiFi. There were also indications that it will support things like volume and brightness adjustments and it will give you ‘Unsecure Network Warning’. The new update isn’t available yet on Google Play Store, but you can try it out HERE.
