Hands on & First Impressions with the Huawei Nexus 6P

Hello Mobilistas!! I present to you the Huawei Nexus 6P. This phone has been around for a while now, but we all know that it is scarce in this part of the world. Many thanks to one of our esteemed readers, Mr. Gbenro, I was able to play with this awesome phone. Here are my thoughts on it:

This phone has a 5.7 inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 810 chip, 3 GB RAM and 3450 mAh battery. You can view the full specs sheet HERE. The phone is quite big (see how it enveloped my hands), but it’s not that heavy. The uni-body metallic design gives it that premium feel.

The 12.3 MP camera sits at the back, while the dual LED flash lies beside it. Behind the phone you also find the fingerprint scanner. It unlocks pretty fast – within fractions of a second. The 8 MP selfie camera takes really good selfies. It took in plenty light indoors and covered a wide angle.

The top carries a 3.5 mm earphone jack, while the bottom part has a USB Type C port. Notice the silver lines at the top and bottom. The Nexus 6P is blazing fast. Remember that it runs stock Android Marshmallow, so the operation was very smooth. Overall, it had a premium feel written all over it.

I wish I was able to spend more time with it. If wishes were horses. I’m afraid this is all I’ve got.
