Just like the experience with the Lenovo A5000, I was also opportune to briefly play with the Lenovo A7000. This is a 5.5-inch screened device, with 2 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, running Android Lollipop with a 2900 mAh battery. You can check out the full specifications HERE.
The Lenovo A7000 is a bigger brother to the A5000 with it’s bigger screen faster processor. This phone is unbelievably light. The spec sheet says 140 g so you can imagine. The phone is quite slim, feels good in the hand and compact, though I fear this device won’t survive #bendgate.
We have a very sharp display here with very vibrant colors. The phone runs Android 5.o Lollipop skinned with the Lenovo Vibe 2.0 UI. The phone runs opens smoothly and very responsive. In a brief camera test I discovered the back camera was just there, but the front facing camera was really good. The 5 MP selfie camera was sharp and covered a pretty wide angle.
The volume rockers and power buttons are on the side, while the USB port and 3.5 mm jack are sited at the top. That’s all for a brief hands on, hopefully if the device arrives Mobility, we’ll then get to do a full proper review.
