Hands on with the One Plus 10,000mAh power bank

Posted by

We got our hands on a unit of a One Plus 10,000mAh power bank. If you haven’t heard of it before, One Plus is one of those new mobile brands that pride themselves in making premium devices at very cheap prices. Acquiring their gadgets is stressful process though, so good luck getting your hands on one.

That said, the device is well packaged. In the box and at the bottom of the pack is a manual and a cable for charging. The power bank itself looks and feels strurdy. On the bottom part is a provision for charging 2 devices simultaneously, both with ratings of 5v 2A. Then the smaller port for charging it. There’s also a 4-dot LED indicator for showing the current status of the battery.

OnePlus saved the best part for last.The One Plus power bank doesn’t have any buttons for controls. It works with shake control. Remember how you shake your phone to change music or share files through Flash Share? Yes, now you get a clearer picture. Shake it to switch ON/OFF as preferred.

This cool power bank also automatically switches off after a full charge and after fully charging your device plugged to it.

  1. This can be very confusing…or very innovative depending on the user. I can’t imagine using this powerbank on a shaky surface or in a car moving on a pot-holed Lagos road. E go just dey shake on and off like pendulum…

  2. This cool power bank also automatically switches off after a full charge and after fully charging your device plugged to it.

Don’t they all.? If they don’t, the batteries would explode, no?
