Huawei’s head of international media affairs, Joe Kelly, has been reported to have said that Huawei didn’t make any money in Windows Phone (which isn’t news, as another Huawei exec described the platform as weak back in June 2013), but this time, Joe adds, “Nobody made any money in Windows Phone.”
As it stands, the Chinese brand is unlikely to return to Windows Phone, unless the market changes.
Does the Huawei executive’s claim ring true? Do you know any manufacturer who has come up to declare that they are returning profit on Windows Phone smartphones?
