Infinix Note 4 Pro First Impressions and Photos

Mister Mo’s first impressions of the Infinix Note 4 Pro is that it is a much more beautiful and solidly built device than the Note 4 is.

We have had the Infinix Note 4 visit us here at MobilityArena. You can see the specifications HERE and our review HERE. While the Note 4 is reliable, it is not a smartphone that wows. For the wow factor, the Pro version is exactly what the doctor ordered. In place of the polycarbonate shell is a beautifully crafted metal shell. And then, there is the Xpen stylus. This is Infinix’s first Note device with a stylus.

The other stylus devices that I have used in recent years are the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 3G.

Unboxing the Infinix Note 4 Pro was an orgasmic experience. Forgive me, but dropping the Note 4 for the Note 4 Pro was quite a jolt – and a very positive one for that matter. The latter is an infinitely more beautiful device. With a 5.7-inch display, it s big, but it doesn’t feel wieldy the way the Note 4 does. And the crafting of the metal unibody is nice.

Enjoy some teaser photos we took.

Here is the box, a rather nice one. Quite big too!

And within the box are two other boxes – one housing the phone, charger port, USB cable and earpiece, the other housing the Xpen and smart cover.

When opened up, here we have the phone itself, the Xpen stylus, and the smart cover.

Here is the Infinix Note 4 Pro standing with the Xpen leaning gently. Nice pose, no?

And here is a view of the top of the Note 4 Pro with the Xpen partly extended out. As you can see, the Xpen has a slot in the smart cover. It doesn’t have any on the phone itself, so if you don’t want to lose your stylus, you have to use the smart cover. Aaargh! I am not a big fan of these covers (I know, I know. They have their uses).

And another view….

Here is the bottom edge of the phone, showing the hardware Home button, USB port, microphone port and loudspeaker grill.

And when the smart cover is closed, this is what the package looks like.

The back of the smart cover isn’t looking bad either.

What do you think? Do you agree that the Note 4 Pro is a beautiful smartphone or do you think Mister Mo is just being dramatic? Let’s have your opinion.

Are you saying that, this device does not support Glo 4G LTE network? It’s seems my sister won’t go for this phone, she’s thinking of choosing between Note 4 Pro or Moto E4 Plus. Now that, Note 4 Pro does not support Glo 4G, I think her mind should be on E4 now, because she uses Glo line for browsing.

I’m tempted to go for this phone as I have been a user of all Infinix Note series (1-3). But then, the Note 3 I use at the moment has started to lag a bit. Trust me, I have treated the phone like a “Kikelomo” and it could easily pass off for a new one. I mean no scratches whatsoever!

Who knows, I could just have a change of heart and settle for the Note4.
