The S5 comes with a larger display than its rival, making it a solid pick for mobile gamers or users who enjoy catching their favourite movies or sports event on the go.

It is slightly cheaper than its rival and boasts four rear cameras with decent-looking specs, while a 32MP shooter takes care of selfies and video calls.

The S5 has a decent battery that keeps this device powered through the day and also offers different storage options with a 4GB and 6GB RAM variant.

The Note 8 offers three different storage options at affordable prices, with the variant under observation today costing ₦70,000. It is also lighter than the S5 and offers a sleeker, more compact design than its rival.

It has a processor with faster speeds than its rival, and offers the same Android OS as its rival. In the photography department, it offers quad cameras (much like the S5) with better-looking specs than its rival. However, these figures do not really tell all there is to know about camera comparisons and so it may not be entirely correct to believe this device offers a better photography experience.

The Note 8 has a decent 4,000mAh battery that charges at 18W and it also offers more external storage than its rival.

Both devices have great processors, support 4G technology, boast good camera specs and offer durable batteries. The Note 8 is a solid option and should be your pick if you are looking for a device that offers decent specs at an affordable cost. It has a smaller display but boasts decent cameras and a faster chipset.


 

The S5 shares quite a number of characteristics with its rival on the day, as they both have the same RAM, onboard storage and similar camera configurations. The S5 is a slightly cheaper option and is ideal for buyers who do not want to overspend.
