Some may not know this but there’s a feature on your iPhone and iPod Touch devices called “Shake to shuffle” which can be used to change a music track or playlist simply by shaking it.
Some times this amazing feature can be a mess if you don’t realize it’s on, as it can lead to random change in music tracks.
How to disable shake to shuffle feature on your iPhone,
- From the iPhone home screen, click Settings.
- Then scroll down and choose iPod or Music depending on the option available.
- The first option you would see is a slide for Shake to Shuffle. Move the slider to “Off” to disable the feature.
Shake to shuffle feature is made possible by the accelerometer, which is a built in sensor made to recognize movements.
