iPhone 6s models are overheating and disabling camera flash

Posted by Thetega

The new Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are already on sale in various countries around the world although it is yet to hit the Nigerian market.

As of every iPhone release recently, new iPhones are usually plagued with one issue or the other after launch and it didn’t take long for the 6s model to follow this trend.

New reports have emerged of a weird overheating issue in the camera app. According to a Reddit post, this issue just appears with no heavy use or exposure to extremely hot temperatures

Here’s how the issue is explained

“once you open the camera app, you get a “Flash is disabled” warning saying “The iPhone needs to cool down before you can use the flash.”

Quite a number of other users are confirming that the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are running noticeably hotter than previous models, sometimes reaching a temperature of up to 102 degrees Fahrenheit.

If you own the new iPhone 6s or 6s Plus, have you experienced any overheating issues with it? Sound out in the comments section right below.
