The itel Pad 1 is the first of a new product line of Android tablets and has been introduced in the Indian market. This device carries a price tag of INR 12,999 ($160/€150) and will be available for purchase both online and offline in India. Customers can choose between two color options: Deep Grey and Light Blue.
The itel Pad 1 boasts an elegant metal design and showcases a sizable 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,280×800 pixels. Under the hood, it is equipped with the Unisoc SC9863A1 SoC, complemented by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. Out of the box, this tablet runs on Android 12 (Go Edition), although information regarding future software updates is currently unavailable.
The itel Pad 1 offers a variety of notable features including a large 10.1-inch screen, a powerful 6,000mAh battery, and LTE connectivity. As for the camera setup, it consists of an 8MP front-facing camera and a 5MP rear camera. Furthermore, the device supports both Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity, enabling users to make 4G calls.
Powering the entire package is a 6,000mAh battery, which can be charged via a USB-C port at a maximum rate of 10W. Other noteworthy features of the itel Pad 1 include dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS functionality, and support for FM radio.
itel is a part of the Transsion Group, to which other phone brands like TECNO and Infinix also belong. Their primary markets are countries in Africa and Asia, though TECNO has been involved in some promotional activities in the United States in recent times.
