The long anticipated Android 6.o is finally here and Google apparently kept with their promise. Google has just posted factory images of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This is currently only meant for Nexus devices listed below:
- Nexus 5
- Nexus 6
- Nexus 7 (2013)
- Nexus 9 and
- Nexus Player
Owners of the aforementioned devices should simply head to the Google Developer Page to download and manually install Android 6.0 on their devices. For those that want it now, here’s a tutorial on how to manually install Android 6.0. Meanwhile, for the patient ones, OTA updates will be rolled out anytime from now. I wonder how long it would take for Android One devices to see this update too.
