Kia is delivering software updates for the following cars

Newer model cars come with software that make them smart, with added features that heightens our driving experience. Kia Motors America is planning to provide free Apple CarPlay and Android Auto updates for a list of eligible vehicles.

Customers would be contacted via email on procedures to check if their car is eligible. Step-by-step instructions on updating will also be sent to subscribed users. In the mean time, customers are advised to register at My Uvo to get notified of when the software will be available for download. See the list of eligible Kia cars:

  • Forte (MY17)
  • Optima (MY15-16)
  • Optima Hybrid (MY15-16)
  • Sedona (MY15-16)
  • Soul (MY14-16)
  • Soul EV (MY15-16)
  • Sorento (MY16)
  • Sportage (MY17)
