One of my favourite annual events in Lagos is coming to one of my favourite hangouts this year. Lagos Comic Convention 2013 is holding at Freedom Park. Awesome!
If you are a comic book lover and enjoy lots of super hero stuff, among others, hopefully you will make plans to attend. I was at the 2012 edition and still remember some of the nice comic books that I saw on exhibition then. Nigeria has got talent, and while Mobility.ng has no formal affiliations with the organisers of the event, this has my full thumbs up. I am hoping that the 2013 version trumps last year’s.
In case you didn’t know, I have a long, rich history with comic books, both as a consumer and a producer. As a secondary school student back in the 80s, I was already running a comic book business, producing a well-loved comic book by the name “AquaLord” with the full backing of school authorities. Of course, I no longer produce it. Why did I stop? Wait for my book! *tongue out*
