Another day, another smartphone. This time, it’s a new smartphone from LG Electronics, the consumer electronics firm that’s trying to make a comeback in mobile phones. LG is betting big on smartphones with its new LG G PRO model, hoping to override looming concerns over slowing momentum in the smartphone market and gain market share by introducing what is said to be “the best smartphone ever introduced into the Nigerian market yet”.
The Optimus G Pro is the first device to sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. It’s clocked at 1.7GHz, it is backed by the Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
The camera department promises to be a nail-biter too. The Smartphone boasts of camera sensors with a 13MP rare camera and 2.1MP front unit. A cool option that LG has added is the Time machine camera. It continuously snaps photos in the background, waiting for you to press the shutter. And when you do, it saves several of the photos captured before you pressed the shutter and several after. This way you can capture the right moment even if you don’t have cat-like reflexes.
This by far is my favourite feature of the G Pro. The Qremote stands for Quick Remote, with this feature, you can actually use the phone as a remote control for your home appliances like AC, DVD, Home theatre system, television, projectors (For those at work) etc.
What’s even more fascinating, you can use the Qremote feature across all electronic brands.
The phone is definitely a must have for lovers of big screens and sophisticated devices. We hear that LG intends launching the phone sometime in September and at a very affordable price, but we don’t have full information as to the exact date of the launch.
LG will be giving the first 50 people to purchase the device free pocket photo, the device that prints instantly after just taking a picture. We will definitely update you once we have new information. To Order: Call Moses on 08057596110 or 08120499163.
