Windows Store

Right from inception, the goal of Windows 10 has been to offer a similar experience starting from your PC to your mobile phone and your tablet. Formerly, Windows PC and tablet owners looked for apps in the Windows Store, while Windows Phone users would have to visit the Windows Phone store. The new system puts everything all in one place.

The new app store has a cleaner interface, and lists all the apps from both the Windows and Windows Store, giving users a single place to download apps for both platforms. As at time of writing this article, the feature is available in the US Store. The screen shot below was taken while I tried to download Torrex Pro earlier today.

This probably means the feature is rolled out quietly across regions. All in preparation for the Windows 10 launch on the 29th of this month.
