MIUI 7.1 is live and already seeding to Xiaomi devices. It arrived on my Mi 4 this evening. This latest update to Xiaomi’s custom UI brings lots of new features, including: support for hidden folders in File Explorer, a new Doodle tool for image editing in Gallery, data saver for saving up to 50% on internet data usage, 6 text sizes, enhanced homescreen speed, faster browser launching speed, and a new Mi Drop app for transferring files.
This stable update is 673MB in size and still based on Android Kitkat. If you have a supported Xiaomi smartphone and have set it to download updates automatically, the MIUI 7.1 update should kick in any moment from now.
