Mobile Web West Africa is the well… West Africa version of All Amber’s Mobile Web conferences. I was scheduled to speak at Mobile Web Africa 2009 held in South Africa back. Unfortunately, I could not make it to that event because of the horrible processes of obtaining a visa at the South African High Commission in Lagos.
The second edition was held again in SA this year, and an East Africa version was also conducted this year.
The West Africa version was in the works for this year as well but will now hold in 2011 on the 2nd and 3rd of February. The good news is that it is holding right here in Lagos, Nigeria.
Mobile Web West Africa 2011 is all about harnessing the potential of the internet and applications on mobile devices.
Target audience for the event include:
- organisations who’d like to partner with us to make the event a success.
- mobile start-ups and developers.
- organisations who can assist us in promoting the event.
- large corporate companies who want to share their expertise and perspectives in the development of the eco-system.
We will bring you more details as they unfold.
