MobiNigeria App Downloaded Over 6,000 Times

Posted by

Just a bit of news about our own mobile app for Java, Symbian and MeeGo devices, “MobiNigeria’. This app has been downloaded 6614 times in 80 countries across the world as at today.

Top 5 Countries
Top five countries for downloads are as follows:

  1. Nigeria – 5908
  2. Ghana – 155
  3. United Kingdom – 64
  4. Saudi Arabia – 43
  5. India – 40

We are currently editing the app to reflect our new brand “Mobility blog”, as against “Mobility Nigeria” when it was published.

Other Platforms?

Perhaps it is time for us to explore an app for other platforms too, especially Android.

I am not a big fan of dedicated blog apps, but the demand is there, so who am I to say no?

Any proficient Android, Windows Phone and iOS developers in the house who can build those for us without us requiring a subsidy from Abuja?

The download links are on every page of this blog under the “Quick Links” section. Still, here they are again:

  1. I used this app in my former N97 but was a kind of read only, I was not able to post a comment on any article.
I would like to have this app on my current android phone.

  2. Hello mobility, SetFron is an established multimedia design firm, with expertise in web and mobile application, we build mobile app on these platforms: Android, iphone, WP 7, and Blackberry. Let us know if you are interested.

  3. Hi Yomi, i can help build a mobile APP for ANdroid, Blackberry, iPhone & Windows Mobile Platforms for Mobility Nigeria. I normally bill 50-75k minimum for a simple mobile APP, but am willing to give Mobility Nigeria a generous discount in return for exposure on your blog.

If we come to agreement, i’ll build a demo mobile APP for you to test in Android.

  4. Thanks to all the app developers who responded to my request.

Let’s start with an Android app for Mobility blog:

    1. We want the mobile app to reflect the look and feel of Mobility blog’s mobile site, so you need to check that out on a mobile.

    2. Please mail me at yomi AT yomiadegboye.com with your quote and a demo app.

    Thanks.
