Months after Android, BB10 and Windows, iPhone finally gets WhatsApp Web

In a rather interesting twist, Android smartphones got WhatsApp Web support many months ago in January 2015, followed by BlackBerry 10 in February and Windows Phone smartphones in March. Finally, iOS – which is usually the first to get the attention of many mobile app developers – gets WhatsApp Web support in August. Actually, even Nokia S60 and S40 got WhatsApp Web support before the iPhone did. Certainly interesting.

Funny enough WhatsApp web is something I haven’t used on any device I have.

I’m still trying to figure out what’s useful about it, and as I don’t spend that much time with it nor WhatsApp calling, it’s one of those things that will continue to lurk in the background until boredom drives me to try it out.
