With the looming release of a number of Apple iPhones later this year, a number of leaks surrounding these devices point to one exciting feature that they may likely possess… speed. These reports backed by a hardware leak suggest that the iPhone 12, as it is referred to in some quarters, will support an ultra-short range wireless LAN standard that utilizes a 60GHz Wi-Fi band.
This iPhone will be one of the first devices to possess this quality, and this technology simply means that there would be an increase in data transfer rates at short ranges translating to more speed for the iPhone12.

The iPhone 12 expected to be released in September this year is also rumored to feature a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and may operate on Apple’s A13 Bionic chip. This device is expected to support 5G technology and will offer users incredibly quick data transfer rates as earlier stated.
With little else known about this device, it will be interesting to wait and see what Apple has in stock for the iPhone 12 and the rest of its 2020 iPhones. With the release of the iPhone SE2 just a month away, we can already tell what features the device will possess so it will be interesting to see how the remaining iPhones will turn out.
