One-year old Realme hits 10 Million users globally, enters top 10 OEMs list

It is an amazing feat however you look at it. In just a little over a year of existence, OPPO’s sub-brand, Realme, has sold 10 million smartphones and made it to the list of top 10 OEMs globally.

That puts Realme just below/behind HMD Global (Nokia) on the top 10 table in Q2 2019. That is some fast forwarding action by Realme. We can’t remember any other smartphone brand that has pulled off such huge growth so fast.

The brand’s first model was the Realme 1, which was quickly followed by a number of others. 7 months later, Realme had sold 4 million phones. And here we are celebrating 10 million phones a year and 2 months after touchdown.

  1. This is unbelievably amazing! I saw some mobile devices branded: “RealMe”. I didn’t bother wasting my time on it because I thought it’s another substandard product from China 🇨🇳.
