Apparently, the succesor to the Nokia 9 PureView was delayed so it could get the latest Qualcomm processor and not repeat the same mistake that the Nokia 9 got bogged in. To be called Nokia 9.2, the phone will be announced with a Snapdragon 865 processor in 2020.
Leakster, Nokia anew, tweeted to say that HMD Global had to delay the phone to replace the procesor with Snapdragon 865:
The announcement of Nokia 9.2 is likely to be delayed until the autumn due to the replacement of the processor on the Snapdragon 865.#Nokia9 #NokiaMobile #HMD #Nokia2020 pic.twitter.com/DbAFdMFi6v

The tweet implies that the Nokia 9.2 was already equipped with a different processor, likely Snapdragon 855, before the change was decided. As it stands, Nokia fans will have to wait till at least September 2020 for the Nokia 9.2.
You can expect ZEISS imaging and a PureView camera, PureDisplay, and likely 5G connectivity as well. There has been no official statement from HMD Global.
