Nokia to acquire health and wearables firm, Withings

Yes; Nokia is back in mobile, but don’t start dreaming smartphones yet. Withings is a consumer electronics company founded in 2008 and located in France. Their products include wearables, among other mobile/smart/digital health products. Nokia is acquiring Withings.

Products in the portfolio of Withings include: fitness tracking watches, connected scales, home monitoring cameras, and bed sensors. Yes; Nokia is very much alive in the mobile and consumer electronics market.

The acquisition process is expected to be concluded before the end of the year.
