The Nokia C2-03 dual SIM, touch and type device has been announced. It is an S40-powered feature phone in a slider body.

  • Series 40 powered phone
  • Measuring 103 x 51.4 x 17mm (L x W x H)
  • Weight: 118g
  • 2-megapixel camera
  • Display: 240 x 320 with up to 65K colours
  • Support for 32GB memory card
  • Standby time is up to 400 hours, with a talk time of up to five hours
  • Music playback time last up to 35 hour
  • Brand new Nokia Maps for Series 40
  • Newly released Nokia Browser for Series 40
  • Nokia C2-03 is capable of remembering the settings for up to five separate cards.
  • Hot-swappable SIM, no need for reboot

The Nokia C2-03 will be available in Q3 2011 in India, China, SEAP, Eurasia and MEA, costing €77 (the price may vary from market to market) – excluding taxes and subsidies.

    The price point of this phone is what I find really interesting. I suspect this guy is going to do very well in the Market as it brings Navigation to the mass Market.

    this phone will sell under 15K in d nigerian market.this will put pressure on asian brands like tecno&zte etc nigerians love nokia,they will recommend it and mass buy it for their folks.

    This is long overdue, some of us have 3 phones in our pockets. The big players in the mobile market refused to listen to the people. If Nokia had done this 3 years ago, they would have overun the mobile market and they will not be having some of their present problems. Everybody on this forum has at least 3 lines (some even more). All I can say is ‘Nokia good morning’

    Put multitasking on this baby and the likes of Blackberry Torch will be in serious trouble.

    Going the way of Samsung Jet is not a bad idea. Let’s have a feature phone “smarter than a smartphone” from nokia.

    I dont mind dual sim but am a fan of dual stand by.

    This is certainly the next billion phone.
