Hello Nokia fans, on September 30th, 2016, someone ran a Geekbench benchmark test on a mystery device. The benchmark listing reveals the name as “Nokia D1C”. We are guessing that this is internal code name. Time will tell what the proper model name will be. For now, we do know that a Nokia device by internal code name “Nokia D1C” is on the way.
The benchmark listing indicates a MSM8937 motherboard. That’s the product number for Qualcomm Snapdragon 430. So, we are sure this is not a flagship device. Snapdragon 430 means we are looking at a Adreno 505 GPU here.
Update: An AnTuTu benchmark listing of the Nokia D1C has further revealed the following features: a 1080 x 1920 pixels (HD) display, 32 GB internal storage, a 13 megapixel rear camera, and an 8 megapixel front camera.
Update: A GFX benchmark listing revealed that the Nokia D1C is a 13.8-inch tablet.
Here are the specs of the yet-to-be-announced Nokia D1C that the benchmark results have revealed so far:
- 13.8-inch, 1080 x 1920 pixels (HD) display
- Operating System: Android 7.0

That is all we know for now. There are no images – leaked or official – yet. We do know that Nokia’s timeline for their first set of Android smartphones is Q4, 2016. So, calm down. It won’t be long now. We will share more info as we get our hands on them.
