Finally, Samsung has released official information about their phones that will be getting the Android Pie update. We have the Samsung Android Pie update list for your convenience.
Samsung does not have a very good track record with speedy software updates. And with Android 9 Pie, they have not disappointed. While a handful of other brands like Essential, Nokia, Motorola and others have rolled out the Android Pie update to one or more of their individual devices, Samsung has not updated one device yet.
But come January 2019, the first set of Samsung smartphones will get Android Pie. But when they do, beyond the improvements that come with Android 9, Samsung eligible Samsung phones will also get the new custom skin that replaces Experience UI. One UI, as the new skin is called, brings a whole new visual and interactive experience to Samsung phones.
