If you have never listened to music on stereo speakers on any smartphone, you have no idea what difference it makes. The sound quality simply blows everything else out of the water. After that, nothing but stereo speakers else sound good enough. My first encounter with stereo sound on the BlackBerry Z30 was an eye opener. You know how it is: if your smartphone has a superb camera, you tend to snap and snap everywhere you turn. I couldn’t stop playing music on the Z30. The audio quality was that mind-blowing.
Last week, I got to play with the HTC one M8, and remembering what stereo sound was like on the Z30, I knew I had to test the front-facing stereo speakers on the new One. I wasn’t disappointed. Stereo is great, but front-facing stereo is just more awesome.
Even if you are not so much f a music lover, after you hear music on any of the smartphones with stereo speakers, you will long to listen to music the more. Well, except you are tone deaf, which is an exceptional situation. So, what smartphones in the market offer stereo loudspeakers at the moment? Here is a quick list:
- BlackBerry Z30
- HTC One
- HTC One Mini
- HTC One M8 (and its different iterations)
- HTC Desire 816
- Sony Xperia Z2
- Lenovo S930
- HTC Desire 700 Dual SIM
So, if you are a music/audio person and you would love to own a smartphone with some audio oooomph, do check out one of the above smartphones. Once you go stereo…
