OnePlus 8 Pro To Debut With Amazing Wireless Charging Tech, Charges Faster Than the Samsung Galaxy S20 Series

Chinese smartphone makers OnePlus will implement a wireless charging technology in their new set of devices. Rumour has it that the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are expected to launch in April, and this new wireless tech should thrill OnePlus fans.


OnePlus is known to provide flagship-level specs for users at affordable prices, making it a favorite among certain smartphone users. With the OnePlus 8 Pro rumoured to be set for release next month, sources say that the smartphone will feature 30W wireless charging technology.

Leaks from tipster Ishan Agarwal say that the OnePlus 8 Pro will be able to support wireless charging at 30W, it will be recalled that the Samsung Galaxy S20 series can only support wireless charging at 12W.

This means that the OnePlus 8 Pro can also work as a charging station, able to effectively supply charge to other devices at the same rate. If these leaks are true, this simply enthrones the OnePlus 8 Pro as the best device with reverse wireless charging system on the planet right now.

The leaks also confirm a number of other specs, as the OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to support 5G technology and would have a screen refresh rate of 120Hz. The OnePlus 8 Pro should come with an 8GB RAM and have a Snapdragon 865 processor under the hood.

We are sure a number of more leaks would surface before its launch in April, but with the current level of information regarding the OnePlus 8 Pro, this device seems like it can mount a significant challenge to a number of other high-end smartphones in the market.
