OPPO has launched a new variant of the OPPO Reno 4 Pro with a different chipset from the Chinese variant launched in June. This new device features a Snapdragon 720G SoC and quad rear cameras unlike the Chinese variant that featured three rear cameras and a Snapdragon 765G SoC.
The dual-SIM (Nano) OPPO Reno 4 Pro runs the Android 10 with ColorOS 7.2 on top. It is fitted with a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) 3D Borderless Sense Super AMOLED display that has a 90Hz screen refresh rate. This front panel houses a 32MP Sony IMX 616 selfie camera that handles video calls.
Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC complete with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM keeps this device ticking. Also, a multi-cooling system that uses a combination of graphite sheet, tube and a copper coil help to dissipate heat. For pictures and videos, this smartphone has four rear cameras with a 48MP main sensor which is assisted by an 8MP secondary sensor with ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP mono shooter.
This device offers 128GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD card and packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports fast charging via 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 meaning that this device can achieve a full charge in just 36 minutes. The OPPO Reno 4 Pro is available in two colour options, Starry Night and Silky White colours. There is just one storage option available, an 8GB+128GB model that sells for $465.
This mid-range smartphone would be available for purchase in India from the 5th of August and is expected to reach a number of other markets in the coming days.
