This technology is believed to be capable of charging a smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery in about 10 minutes. With reports saying that the company is planning on launching an 80W fast charging technology that will be named SuperVOOC 3.0, it is still unclear if this will be incorporated in a new device or if in fact, the 125W fast charging tech is the SuperVOOC 3.0.

OPPO introduced the Reno Ace in 2019 with 65W fast charging, making it the highest in the industry. A post by the company on Weibo gives the time of the launch as 07:00 AM (GMT) and does not mention any details in the post, if this will be a standalone unveiling or if it will be unveiled alongside another device.

This high-speed technology may mean that devices will have lower battery lifespans, which could be disastrous for the device on the long run. But for some, the pros of this high-speed technology outweigh the cons.
