The Toyota Camry series recorded huge sales in the US last year. Japanese car maker has followed up with a better ride in the series. Unveiled this week in Detroit US, the 2018 Toyota Camry comes refreshed, bigger, more balanced, plus with more swagger. This new release is 0.7 inch wider, the wheelbase is 2 inches longer, the roof and hood height is lower by 1 and 1.6 inches respectively.
2018 Toyota Camry Specs
The 2018 Toyota Camry comes with a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder “Dynamic Force Engine.” It is expected to produce 178 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque, plus good fuel economy. On the Hybrid model, the batteries are now underneath the rear seat. Theoretically, this should improve trunk space and offer better weight distribution. Fuel economy is in the range of 54 mpg (city) and 50 mpg (highway).
As usual, we have all the safety features in here: forward collision warning with auto-brake, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, auto-steering, adaptive cruise control, etc all under the umbrella of Toyota Safety Sense.
