Here are a few images of Pliris Blaze+, the next generation Blaze. This unit is running Android GingerBread. In case you missed it, you should also see Mister Mobility’s hands-on with the Blaze+ some weeks ago.

A benchmark test:

Dialling a number:

Quick specs of the Blaze+ again:

  • 4.3-inch capacitive display
  • 2.5GB internal storage + microSD expansion slot (ships with 4 or 8GB card
  • dual SIM, dual active functionality
  • 2200 mAh battery
  • Android Gingerbread 2.3.6 (special Mobility blog orders can be shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich)
  • 1.2GHz processor
  • 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash

The Blaze+ is expected to hit thee market at about N40,000 per unit. We think its a steal, so keep your eyes on Mobility blog for launch date.

Meanwhile, we also have the 5-inch display Pliris Rave in the works. If you love big screen, this is your baby. We will keep you updated with our progress on this as well.

In the meantime, if you are in Lagos and environs, you can purchase the original Blaze and have it delivered to you by calling 08076400503.

  1. The hardware looks right. Android can only be right. If the two are blended right, then one certainly cannot go wrong with this device. I like its performance in the AnTuTu Benchmark.

Why not make it all ICS, irrespective of point of order or purchase? It is possible already.

  2. 40k looks a steal. from the benchmark it outperforms some notable models like d google nexus s. thats really impressive

  3. The specification and price looks better than the first blaze, but somebody should be able to tell us the availability and its current price.

The blaze with 4.0 screen and a 3 mpx camera should not be more expensive than the blaze +. Anybody in the house?

  4. All ,

    Pardon the delay in responding.
Thank you for your encouraging interest in PlirisMobile. Our Passion is to put world class information/technology in your hands at affordable prices.

@Julius: On the question of availability, we are still in the midst of production/factory line setup, so we cant give you a final cost as of now.
New developments in terms of product features are enabling us to be competitive price players in the market.
Individual purchases such as the one in the pictures above is taken as a special order and is still in the same range as the Pliris Blaze even though the Blaze+ does not have mobile analogue TV.

@Harry- ICS is being worked on as we speak, as you are no doubt aware only 10 phones worldwide come with ICS preinstalled as at last month(May). Most phones can be upgraded but most dont have it preinstalled.

We @plirisMobile can do individual setups with a great deal of work but we are still finalizing the setups for large scale deployment.

Please keep reading Mobility Blog, following on twitter and we will keep you in the loop of how things are evolving.

    Have a great day

  5. The future sure looks bright for Plirismobile…the added features sure place it in good standing with other popular brands: 1.2Ghz processor, 2.5G ROM and a tougher-looking battery…specs to face the world with, I’m sure.

  6. Mr. Gbenro,

Thanks for the enlightenment, but I am actually asking for the price and availability of the Blaze 1 and not the Blaze +. I thought it was released last year december. How much, and where can I pick one?

  7. @Julius,

We @PlirisMobile are very sorry for the Confusion.
You are right the Original Blaze devices are indeed available @ the Price of 50k.

If you are in Abuja you can find some in Banex Plaza or any of the Dealers listed on our site.
If you are in Lagos, just connect with Mobility.
If you are anywhere else we are in the midst of finalizing arrangements we can work something out.

    Thanks and Best regards

  8. Thanks Gbenro, I am un Benin City. My friend and I that’s interested in this now lives in Benin. Is there any way we can get Blaze here?
