Sometime last year, just after the launch of the the iPhone 6 plus, #bendgate became a popular trend. The movement got people bending their phones to know how it can withstand the pressure, some bent while some others didn’t.
Korean firm Patchworks, claimed they have a solution to the bending issue. They have reportedly achieved this by producing a curved glass screen protector for the iPhone 6 Plus. This one is made of tempered glass, a little bit of silicon, and its made to respond to touch more efficiently-with accuracy and precision-than the normal screen protectors.
They’ve had successes selling in Japan and they’re set to launch in the US. This glass screen sells for about $39- $45.
